The chips are formulated with lower-carb ingredients like Almond Flour, making them suitable for people who are monitoring their carbohydrate intake. We also added Psyllium Husk to add fiber to the chips, so the net carb content is lower. Here is the formula:
Total Carbs – Fiber = Net Carb
Because fiber isn't digested it can be subtracted from the total carb count in the Chips or any food.

Yes, Apia Chips are gluten-free. However, they are not certified
Gluten- Free due to cross-contamination. The facility where Apia Chips are manufactured is not gluten-free. Eventually, we will move to a facility that is gluten-free certified. That is when we will include a gluten-free certification on the bag.
